Should I get a wire or plastic crate?
Wire crates stay cooler in hot environments, give more ventilation, give more of a view to the puppy, can be covered with towel to minimize distroctions if needed, can be folded flat for storage.Plasic crates are easy to clean, other dogs can't pull the bedding between wires, better for portability provide a ready-made "den-like" cave environment -- naturally calming for dogs. The choice is yours, but whichever style you choose, be sure the crate is big enough so that there is enough room for the dog to stand up and turn around, and in which she can lie down and sleep in a comfortable position. It’s also best to allow some extra room for your puppy’s rapid growth.Not too big, it won't help with the housetraining.
