How do you protect puppies from flea infestations?
A spot-type flea product like Frontline or Revolution should take care of the problem. Again, the vets are taking advantage of you. All you need is few drops of fipronil. If you have a lot of dogs, just order a bottle of Termidor, termite treatment. Mix it with an equal part of baby oil (shake well), and apply to the back of the dog, just like you would Frontline. One thimble full will treat a 20 lbs dog. If you want to add methoprene, something like Bio-Spot what will help too.Your vet will go crazy if they find out, and they might tell you it causes cancer, it will poison them. While in reality, they only thing hurt will be the vet's pocketbook. I bought a bottle for $58 and have used it the last three summers without any problem. Frontline for three summers would be several thousand dollars. Termidor is $58.
